The platforms that dominate local search today were built for advertisers, not communities. They extract data, sell it back as advertising, and take the majority of value out of the local economy.
CitySpot was built with the opposite intent. When a local restaurant gets discovered on CitySpot, the revenue stays local. When a driver delivers an order through CitySpot, they keep more of what they earn. When a Black-owned business gets featured on CitySpot, it is not an afterthought β it is a core part of the platform.
